Terms and Conditions

TRAVEL DELUXE (the "Company") provides minibus, coach, and airport transfer services. The customer ("Hirer") agrees to the following terms for themselves and any passengers in their party.

1. Application
1.1These terms apply to all private hires, whether agreed via quotation, verbally, or in writing.
1.2If the Hirer is not travelling, a nominated representative must be informed to manage instructions on their behalf.
2. Quotation
2.1Quotations are based on the direct route and information provided by the Hirer.
2.2Availability is subject to the Company having a suitable vehicle.
2.3Quotations cover coach and driver only; additional costs such as parking fees are the Hirer's responsibility unless agreed in advance.
3. Departure Times
3.1All departure times must be strictly followed. A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed; after this, the vehicle may leave and full hire charges remain payable.
4. Breakdowns
4.1The Company will replace a vehicle in case of mechanical failure.
4.2No refunds for travel delays, tickets, flights, or ferries.
4.3Journey times are estimates; the Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, breakdowns, or events outside its control.
4.4Liability is limited to the total hire cost.
5. Use of the Vehicle
5.1The vehicle is only available for the specified journey unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Route and Time Variation
6.1Additional charges may apply for deviations in route or extra time.
6.2The Hirer is responsible for passenger compliance with departure instructions.
7. Driver’s Hours
7.1Drivers’ working hours are regulated by law. The Hirer must not cause delays that could lead to breaches. Additional costs for such breaches will be the Hirer's responsibility.
8. Seating Capacity
8.1Hirers must not exceed the legal seating capacity. Seat belts must always be worn.
9. Conveyance of Animals
9.1No animals are allowed unless prior written approval is obtained, except guide or hearing dogs.
10. Confirmation
10.1The Hirer will receive automatic confirmation. It is the Hirer's responsibility to correct any errors.
11. Payment
11.1Full payment or £100 deposit is required at booking. Remaining balance is due three weeks before travel. Interest of 3% per annum above bank rate applies for late payment.
12. Cancellation by Hirer
12.1Deposits are non-refundable.
12.2Charges may apply for cancellations due to weather or other reasons.
13. Cancellation by the Company
13.1The Company may cancel due to events beyond its control with limited liability, possibly refunding payments at its discretion.
14. Vehicle Provided
14.1The Company may provide a larger vehicle if necessary.
14.2Substitute vehicles or facilities may be used.
14.3The vehicle is not available for use outside agreed journeys unless authorized.
15. Passengers’ Property
15.1Luggage restrictions apply; the driver decides what may be carried.
15.2Walkways must remain clear.
15.3The Company is not liable for unattended valuables.
15.4Liability limited to £50 per bag, max £100 per passenger.
15.5Does not apply to personal injury.
15.6Lost property is held per current Public Service Vehicle regulations.
16. Conduct of Passengers
16.1The driver may remove unsafe or disruptive passengers.
16.2Hirers are responsible for damage caused by passengers.
16.3Abuse towards others may lead to removal and police involvement.
16.4No alcohol consumption in the vehicle; storage allowed in luggage compartments.
16.5No smoking at any time.
17. Complaints
17.1Complaints should first be addressed with the driver or Company. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days; responses are provided within 28 days.
18. Refreshments and Drinks
18.1Food, drink, illegal substances, or gum may not be consumed without permission.
18.2Valeting charges up to £100 may apply for misuse or damage.
19. Surcharges
19.1Additional charges for fuel or taxes may be passed on for bookings more than 30 days before departure. No surcharges within 30 days. Liability is limited to hire and ancillary services.
20. Insurance
20.1Hirers and passengers should insure themselves for events not covered by the Company, such as luggage loss or delays.
21. Governing Law
21.1This contract is governed by English Law.
